To motivate existing Sims players to upgrade to the soon-to-be-released The Sims 4, EA is offering free game items to owners of The Sims 3.
The so-called Sims 4 Rewards program will gift one in-game item for The Sims 3 and each owned expansion pack. Sadly, all of the gifts are lamps. Although they do promise to “affect your Sims’ emotions and personalities in a unique way.”
To claim your free items, your Sims 3 games need to have been bought through Origin or registered online.
